and this sums up where we are at right now.....
Jeff Raglus and Vicki Gaye don't sound like anybody else.
Soft core prog rock meets shoe gaze folk. Strong rhythms, kooky electric guitar, Bacharach style trumpet, honest to godly vocals - peppered with off the cuff humour and songs covering subjects as varied as life itself.
It’s 6 years and 3 albums since they formed. In that time, they’ve been racking up literally hundreds of shows around Australia and overseas.
Rhythms magazine describes them as thus....
Vicki Gaye Philipp’s partnership with Jeff Raglus is based on a predetermined aesthetic informed by a broad musical and artistic knowledge. Jazz, classic movie soundtracks and sunny psychedelia merge in the pairs beachside sound.
That sums it up fine for us. Cheers and hope to see you at one of our gigs!!
